Afterdawn is also a comprehensive site with a emphasis on film formats, guides (e.g. DVD) and their format conversions.

Our local ((NZ) readwriteweb which has about 20th ranking for the top blogs (see Technorati Top 100 blogs) which describes latest news for internet platforms and news. Then there's the comprehensive Toms Hardware Guide, which reviews graphic boards, video boards, CPU's and more. But also PC Hardware Experts is also quite comprehensive.
